It's no secret that article marketing is working for thousands of Internet marketers across all sorts of topics and niches. If you are not currently using this traffic-generating weapon, it's time to add it now to your marketing arsenal.
If you have never written an article before, you might be thinking that it' s harder or more time consuming than it actually is. Or perhaps you've written a few, but struggled to get the right words on paper or felt it just took too long to complete.
The easiest way to get started is simply that - Get Started.
Start with a goal in mind. What is your article about? It should have something to do about your website, product, service, etc. Start wit your headline. Your headline should give a potential reader a reason to continue to read the rest of the article. I'll cover writing a strong headline in a future article, for now just make it the best you can - and use your main keyword in your title.
Don't know what to write about? One secret is to just start writing. Write whatever comes to your mind and slowly but surely the right words will start to come out. Don't worry about fixing mistakes, spelling errors etc. Just keep getting through it. Once you are done go back and take out or change all the parts that don't make since and hen fix the mistakes.
A good article should be between 300 to 500 words long. Make sure you use your keywords at least 2 times in your article, preferable once near the beginning and once near the end.
If you do not want to or don't feel you are up to writing your own articles, you can easily outsource this very inexpensively. I am currently paying between $3 to $5 per article and up to $10 each for longer articles - or ones that require more research.
If you will be submitting your article directories don't forget to include a resource box. A resource box is simply information about you. Here you can include a link to your website or newsletter sign-up.
Underneath the resource box, you type a statement giving others the right to reprint the article for free, as long as they don't change it and keep your resource box attached. This allows others to help make your article viral.
So get started now, give it a try and get writing. Soon you will find that article writing is not only pretty simple, but pays off well in the traffic it can generate.
